These waterproof lights meet Coast Guard regulations for two nautical miles, offer 120 degree unobstructed visibility and are mounted in a highly polished Stainless Steel Type 316 cover plate with USCG approval engraving. MIAMI (February 12, 2015) – The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Boating Writers International (BWI) announced today winners of the 2015 Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show Innovation Awards, presented during the annual Industry Breakfast at the Miami Beach Convention Center. This year’s program featured a record number of entries with 97 products.  “On behalf of the Miami International Boat Show Staff, I would like to congratulate you on your win in this years’ Innovation program.”

Innovation: Putting LED Navigation Lights right in the Rub Rail

Taco Marine’s Sleek Rub Rail mounted LED navigation lights enable the elimination of deck mounted versions. These LED lights are mounted in a heavy gauge Stainless Steel joiner cover.

Rub rail mounted LED navigation lights are the latest innovative product from Taco Marine. These 3-watt port and starboard LED lights can be seen up to two miles away – and they are ABYC/USCG tested and approved with a IP-68 rating for “wet locations.” These low voltage LED lights also preserve battery life by drawing less than .25 amps.
